The book has been organized into two complementary sections: the first is about evolution of the Sino-US relations; and the second is on Indo-US relations, especially after 1991 and the end of the Cold War and of the ‘social-imperialism’ of the USSR. It further explores the mores of Chinese leadership, the period of consolidation and growth of relationship punctuated by the turn of China to ‘market socialism’, led by Deng; the impact of the end of Cold War; and its influence.
