The Significance and Function of the Theme “Creation” in Isaiah 40 – 48
Produktform: Buch
This study aims at investigating the significance and function of the theme “creation” from the selected passages of Isaiah 40-48. The author discovers a fresh “creation theology”; transformation or recreation of nature is to meet the needs of the poor and needy; the earth has been formed to be a dwelling place for all; the produce and offspring of earth are given by Yahweh to all; a reconciled model of creation is emphasized and predominantly ‘creation’ is perceived as an ongoing process and continuous action of Yahweh.
