This book illustrates the relationship between sleep and neuropsychiatric disorders. These problems are common and often ignored in practice of neurology and psychiatry. This book is an attempt to provide updated information to readers about various aspect of interaction between sleep and neuropsychiatric disorders. Importantly, a series of chapters focuses on  behavioural presentation of sleep disorders, which is a novel concept and never been addressed earlier. Other chapters address basic sciences of sleep and public health aspects of sleep disorders to make the book a compendium for the readers. All common psychiatric and neurological disorders where alteration in sleep is prominent are included in form of individual chapters. In these chapters, recent concepts related to pathophysiology, presentation, investigations and management shall be discussed. Finally, with regards to sleep and sleep disorders, neuropsychotropic medications act as double edged sword. This is also discussed in the last section of book.
