As a forerunner in the rebuilding of the social work profession in mainland China, the editor has endeavored to decipher PRC’s development strategy by introducing a policy system framework and a “problems-GPP-isms” prism for public policy analysis. A dynamic/changing GPP pattern leading to a “post-economic state” era is also identified for China research and comparative-historical studies. The editor leads this book project with a scholarly team of contributors from greater China and overseas who are experts in social work and related fields. By tackling issues ranging from fundamental to technical, the proposed volume aims at a better international understanding for advancing social work as a global profession and enhancing the intellectual foundation for peaceful development in China and elsewhere. weiterlesen
