"The book “Stories of China’s Reform – a Photographer’s Personal Experiences” is a graphic work that records the history and changes of China's reform and opening up. In this work, the author uses the lens to tell about major events such as the death of Deng Xiaoping, the return of Hong Kong, the 1998 catastrophic flood, the prime minister’s asking for wages for farmers, the Sino-US WTO negotiations, the Beijing Olympics, the failure of Beijing’s first beauty pageant, and the citizens’ farewell food stamps.
