Produktform: Buch / Einband - flex.(Paperback)
The scientific monograph entitled “Sustainability as a Way of Life – From Education to the Economy” embraces the results of various research areas that have a common ground in the study of sustainable development through aspects of fairly complex environmental issues. At the beginning, we get an insight into the results of research that explores the importance of carrying out physical or sports activities of future kinesiologists directly in the natural environment. In the following, we encounter interesting research findings that talk about the success of the approach where the artistic value, based on the attitude towards the environment, is developed through the study period of the formation of the future teacher. The monograph later serves us a study, the purpose of which was to determine the attitude of primary school teachers towards the experimental work and to determine the environmental conditions in which teachers perform this type of work. The next interesting topic in the monograph which cannot leave us indifferent is studying the awareness of the importance of water on Earth and in space from an educational perspective. The following, we have the analysis of business planning and farm planning that provides an insight into the essential components and driving force of the profitability and sustainability of agricultural holdings. The results of the analysis offer some possible scenarios on how to make the transition from conventional to organic - healthy agriculture. Further on, from another perspective, we can see how important some morphological characteristics and self-body image of adolescents are and how understanding environmental factors of a chosen location can lead to identifying opportunities and predicting environmental factors in terms of ecological load. In any case, the promotion of physical activity and the formation of an appropriate self-image should be a priority task of public health. In the context of what has been written, we also find a comparative analysis of the involvement of high school and university students in various eco-projects and how some educational concepts touch on the issues of ecological ethics as tools for a sustainable world. This is followed by a paper that analyzes the tendency to use the natural environment as a source in the implementation of mathematical content in preschool and early school age, and then a paper that examines the role of visual arts in today’s society through segments of environmental awareness. The concluding chapter of the monograph deals with the discussion and description of strategies and ideas on how to make a progress through service learning in rural areas. As part of an international project, the described study offers greater opportunities for teaching and learning through innovative educational activities and also through artistic work in the context of biodiversity and sustainability. In the end, we can conclude that reading the monograph offers the reader an interesting look at individual new insights.weiterlesen
