THE BOOK OF CHANGING TENDON

Produktform: Buch

The Book of changing Tendon is a health-care work of traditional chinese medical science and physical and breathing exercise in ancient China. The autor war written as DaMo(Bodhidhama)in South and North Dynasty. However, because the theoretical system and the method of performing Qigong are mostly Taoist methods, later reseachers believed that it was written by Zining Taoist priest of Tiantai Montain in the 4th Year of Tian-Qi Emperor, Ming dynasty (A.D.1624). The early manuscripts were rarely circulated, and were different from each other and not standard. It was not until the middle of the Qing Dynasty that the annotated Edition of Lai Zhang Shi was officially printed in woodcut, which was popular all over China. Later, it was reprinted many times, and the fallacies became more and more. Le-Juan-Lou Library has an original example of Lai Zhang Shi's edition, which is known as the first printed and published edition at present. Its text carving is clear and square, and easy to read; its engraving is exquisite, and still has the flavor of Ming Dynasty. What's more, the engravings of the movement demonstration are annotated by an anonymous master. The annotation explains the main method and the essence, which makes the content easier for readers to understand and practice. Some of the contents in the book can be used to correct the errors of the current edition, in case a minimal error results in wide divergence. Therefore, the publisher would not dare to keep it secret but glad to share the complete book by photocopies with the original size, to provide the readers with an authentic reference and to spread the precious ancient book widely. However, the book collector is not familiar with this field, and it is difficult to verify and collate the profound contents or errors in the original book. Therefore please the readers accept the book collector's sincere apologies, and distinguish clearly as well as learn dialectically.weiterlesen
