Detlef Schwartz, born 1954, is a Lutheran pastor and faculty member – in Germany, in the United States as well as in Latin America. In his new book he presents the idea that grace is a process that constitutes the vision of a world filled with love and mercy. The basis of his theological thinking is the connection between religion and culture as it has been developed by Paul Tillich.
