The road to the top is tough. This survey lists success factors and pitfalls on the career ladder of top managers. This comparative study of men and women in top positions cast some light on personal expectations and successful future management style. The study looks at - objective data on the job situation; - subjective assessment of what has lead to personal success so far; - what obstacles had to be overcome; - the family situation; - the attitude towards co-workers and colleagues, and - expectations for the future concerning a successful management style.
