Treating people with disabilities in adult education equally: this is the stipulation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the declared aim of the German educational system. In order to provide the basics as far as the organisation and the didactics are concerned, this publication for the first time combines the disciplines pedagogy for the disabled, adult education and sociology. Thereby each contribution is commented from the perspective of the respective other discipline and is evaluated regarding its transferability or difference. Due to the link of the various approaches to inclusion practice fields of adult education are opened up. Initially, the term inclusion is defined and discussed in detail from the view of the scientific sectors. Then the requirements of inclusive and including adult education organisations are analysed and finally didactic approaches are related to one another and developed further.
