Produktform: Buch / Einband - fest (Hardcover)
Volume 41 of the series Settlement and Coastal Research in the Southern North Sea Region includes seven contributions on various aspects of settlement and landscape genesis in northern and north-western Germany. The chronological focus is placed on the first millennium A.D., when the North Sea coast formed part of inter-regional communication routes. These contributions are complemented by an article presenting the results of a major research project on the late Mesolithic and early Neolithic use of the Zwischenahner Meer, distr. Ammerland, the third largest lake in the federal state of Lower Saxony. At the time it formed a contact zone between the loess-based Linear Pottery farmers, the Ertebølle Culture of the Baltic area and the Swifterbant Culture based in the Dutch wetlands.weiterlesen
