The Serbian Psalter is one of the most precious manuscripts from medieval Serbia. It was most probably produced around 1400 for the princes of Brankovic and came to Munich in 1689 as a part of the booty from the wars against the Turks. The 148 miniatures of this manuscript are the most important representatives of Serbian book illustration.
