In this book the conservators report on their work, on the basis of 20 selected objects. The reader is invited to cast a glance behind the scenes at the museum, and the particular challenges the material leather poses to the conservator are made tangible. This publication addresses the public and the professionals and introduces some of the current topics on leather conservation.
