Friluftsliv ist vor allem ein norwegisches Phänomen, das dort, aber auch in anderen skandinavischen Ländern, zu allen Jahreszeiten betrieben wird. Eine umfassende Übersetzung des Begriffes Friluftsliv gibt es nicht, doch lässt er sich mit Erlebnispädagogik und Outdoor Education in Verbindung bringen. Friluftsliv ist mehr als ein pädagogisches Konzept, bei dem es um den Aufenthalt in der Natur, Gemeinschaft und Selbstfindung geht. Das deutsch-norwegische Autorenteam erläutert dieses Konzept sowohl theoretisch als auch praxisorientiert und gibt Tipps zur Durchführung auch in Deutschland.

Educational institutions should offer a safe and secure environment for young people. Part of that should be educational equity, which this publication analyses and discusses from different angles. All 11 countries reflected on are part of the Bologna process and are dealing with the challenges of the development of a European Higher Education Area. This ongoing process is reflected in the present publication, with a specific focus on equality in education. The authors cover aspects like inclusion and inequality, internationalizing and accessing education, but they also deal with learning foreign Languages, education for the future, assessment, feedback and student success, lifelong learning, teacher training as well as different aspects of the LGB(T+) community and gender and education.
