»Absolute or Relative Priority of Creditor Classes in Restructuring Law«: The absolute priority rule has been called »bankruptcy’s most important and famous rule«. Yet, a European directive from 2019 ((EU) 2019/1023) has challenged this status and introduced a so called relative priority rule.
